Analisis Kinerja Perseroan Dibanding Industri Kabel Nasional
Company Performance Analysis Compared to the National Cable Industry
Pertumbuhan industri kabel ikut melambat karena dampak
pandemi COVID-19, di mana penjualan dan pendapatan
menurun jika dibandingkan dengan tahun lalu. Pembatasan
sosial berskala besar (PSBB) berdampak signifikan pada
pasokan
raw material
industri karena rantai pasokan harus
tertunda. Namun, sejauh ini para pelaku industri kabel
masih tetap beroperasi setelah pabrik mendapatkan surat
izin sesuai dengan Surat Edaran Menteri Perindustrian No. 7
tanggal 9 April 2020.
Proyeksi kebutuhan kabel transmisi masih tinggi di tahun
2020 bahkan tahun depan. Pandemi COVID-19 mendorong
percepatan era revolusi industri 4.0, sehingga peningkatan
pemahaman dan utilisasi masyarakat terkait digitalisasi
dan jaringan telekomunikasi menjadi peluang bagi industri
kabel. Peningkatan permintaan
e-learning
,
remote working
,
dan aktivitas digital lainnya menjadi batu loncatan bagi
perindustrian kabel dan telekomunikasi untuk memulihkan
perekonomian. Pasar industri kabel akan mengalami
pertumbuhan seiring dengan peningkatan kebutuhan
perangkat dan sistem telekomunikasi dan infrastruktur
jaringannya.
Menurut Ketua Umum Asosiasi Pabrik Kabel Indonesia
(Apkabel), sektor industri masih memberikan kontribusi
paling besar terhadap struktur produk domestik bruto (PDB)
nasional hingga sebesar 19,98% pada kuartal I tahun 2020.
Rataan konsumsi kabel domestik tumbuh sekitar 10% setiap
tahunnya, yang didorong oleh meningkatnya serapan kabel
listrik untuk jaringan komunikasi selama masa pandemi
COVID-19. Adanya kebutuhan kabel serat optik pada jaringan
telekomunikasi telah menjadi kesempatan bagi produsen
kabel untuk bergerak cepat.
The growth of cable industry was also slowing down as an
impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, where sales and revenue
have decreased compared to the previous year. The large-
scale social distancing (PSBB) has significantly impacted
raw material supplies in the industry due to the chain
supply being postponed. However, the cable industy is still
operating after acquiring permit letter which was granted
through Circular Letter of Industrial Minister Number 7 dated
April 9, 2020.
The projected demand of transmission cables were still
high in 2020 and even in the coming year. The COVID-19
pandemic has accelerated the revolution era of industry
4.0, which means that the increasing understanding and the
society’s utilization of digitalization and telecommunication
network is an opportunity of cable industry. The increasing
demand of e-learning, remote working, and other digital
activities are becoming a stepping stone for cable and
telecommunication industry to recover the economy. The
market of cable industry will grow in line with the increasing
needs of devices as well as telecommunication system and
its network infrastructures.
According to the General Head of Indonesian Cable Factory
Association (Apkabel), industry sector is still providing the
biggest contribution towards the national gross domestic
product (PDB) with 19.98% in the first quarter of 2020. The
average consumption of domestic cable is growing by 10%
each year, which was encouraged by the increase in power
cable absorptions for telecommunication network during
the COVID-19 pandemic. The needs of fiber optic cable for
telecommunication network has become an opportunity for
cable manufacturers to start moving quickly.
Di tahun 2020 Perseroan berhasil menyelesaikan proyek
perluasan pabrik kabel tegangan tinggi yang merupakan
rencana investasi dan ekspansi jangka panjang di tahun
2020. Penyelesaian perluasan pabrik kabel tegangan tinggi
menjadikan Perseroan sebagai produsen kabel pertama
di Indonesia yang bisa memproduksi kabel bawah tanah
(
underground cable
/UGC) sampai 275 KV.
In 2020, the Company has succeeded to finish the expansion
project of high voltage cable factorywhichwas an investment
plan and long-term expantion in 2020. The completion of
high-voltage factory expantion has made the Company to
become the first cablemanufacturer in Indonesia who is able
to manufacture underground cable (UGC) up to 275 KV.
