Pemangku kepentingan kami hormati,
Di tahun 2020, kita semua menghadapi tantangan pandemi
COVID-19 yang berdampak signifikan bagi kehidupan
manusia maupun industri usaha. Kami, selaku Dewan
Komisaris PT Voksel Electric Tbk (Perseroan) melakukan
fungsi pengawasan yang lebih ketat dan memberikan
arahan bagi Direksi dalammenjalankan tugas dan tanggung
jawabnya. Dewan Komisaris memastikan bahwa semua
jajaran Direksi dapat menjalankan aktivitas usaha dan
mampu beradaptasi dengan semua tuntutan perubahan.
Untuk itu, Dewan Komisaris telah memberikan nasihat,
memantau, danmelakukan evaluasi atas semua pencapaian
di tahun 2020.
Penilaian terhadap Kinerja Direksi
Seiring dengan adaptasi selama masa pandemi COVID-19,
pada pertengahan tahun 2020 mulai terlihat
outlook
pemulihan ekonomi global secara perlahan. Roda
perekonomian mulai memberikan dampak positif, serta
perbaikan ekonomi di sejumlah negara, walau masih diiringi
dengan ketidakpastian yang tinggi.
Pergerakan ekonomi yang lambat di sepanjang tahun 2020
memerlukan penanganan strategi usaha yang maksimal,
termasuk dalam meningkatkan kompetensi seluruh insan
Perseroan. Dewan Komisaris mencermati kondisi ini dan
melihat bahwa Direksi telah bekerja dengan maksimal
dalam menjalankan usaha Perseroan serta merespon
tantangan kesehatan. Dewan Komisaris memberikan
apresiasi atas kinerja Direksi dalam merespon dengan
cepat kondisi pandemi, serta segera mengubah strategi
untuk bertahan dan tetap menjalankan kegiatan usaha
semaksimal mungkin. Keadaan ini terlihat pada kuartal
I 2020 yang menunjukkan penurunan kinerja Perseroan,
namun kegiatan usaha tetap berjalan terus, hingga pada
akhir 2020, Perseroan berhasil mencatatkan laba, meskipun
menurun dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya.
Dewan Komisaris menilai bahwa Direksi telah memimpin
Perseroan dengan baik dan melakukan segala upaya untuk
meminimalkan dampak negatif dari pandemi COVID-19, di
antaranya menjaga rantai pasokan, pemasaran, keuangan,
sumber daya manusia, dan produktivitas. Hasilnya, seluruh
karyawan penuh waktu dapat dipertahankan, protokol
kesehatan dilaksanakan dengan optimal, efisiensi untuk
menunjang stabilitas keuangan terus diupayakan, serta
pengembangan kompetensi tetap dijalankan melalui
berbagai pelatihan daring.
Dear respected stakeholders,
In 2020, we faced the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic
which significantly impacts human life as well as industrial
business. We, as the Board of Commissioners of PT
Voksel Electric Tbk (the Company), implemented stricter
supervision functions and directive functions to the Board
of Directors in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
The Board of Commissioners ensured that all members of
the Board of Directors are able to run business activities
and able to adapt to all the changes. Therefore, the Board of
Commissioners has given advice, monitoring, and evaluation
on all achievements in 2020.
Board of Directors’ Performance Evaluation
Along with the adaptation during the COVID-19 pandemic,
the outlook of global economic recovery can be seen in
mid-2020. The economy wheels began to have a positive
impact; economic improvements can also be seen in several
countries, although still accompanied by high uncertainty.
The slow economic growth during 2020 needed to be
responded with an effective business strategy such as
improving the employees’ competencies. The Board of
Commissioners considered this condition and acknowledged
the Board of Directors’ great performance as well as being
active and responsive to challenges related to health. The
Board of Commissioners appreciated the performance
of the Board of Directors for their quick response during
the pandemic as well as for the strategic measures aimed
to sustain and carefully run the business activities. This
condition was in the first quarter of 2020 which showed
a decline in the Company’s performance; however, the
Company was able to continue its business activities and
was able to record a profit at the end of 2020, even though it
was lower than the previous year.
The Board of Commissioners appreciated the Board of
Directors for leading the Company properly and carrying
out all efforts to minimize the negative impacts of the
COVID-19 pandemic such as maintaining supply chain,
marketing, financial, human resources, and productivity. As
a result, all permanent employees can be retained, health
protocols are implemented optimally, efficiency to support
financial stability continues to be pursued, and competency
development can be organized through various online
trainings.
