Meskipun capaian kinerja Perseroan di tahun 2020 lebih
rendah dari target maupun kinerja tahun lalu, Dewan
Komisaris terus mendorong Direksi untuk memperkuat
sistem pemasaran, melakukan diversifikasi produk,
dan memperluas pangsa pasar, baik domestik maupun
ekspor. Kami juga mendorong Direksi untuk meningkatkan
free market
dan
new market
sebagai peluang yang akan
mendukung permintaan. Perseroan juga harus terus
mengembangkan produk yang inovatif dan mendukung
pembangunan berkelanjutan. Perseroan dengan anak
perusahaan dan antar perusahaan juga diharapkan dapat
terus meningkatkan sinergi untuk saling berkolaborasi
dalammemperkuat kinerja di tahun mendatang.
Although the Company’s performance in 2020 was lower
than the target or performance in the previous year, the
Board of Commissioners continued to encourage the Board
of Directors to improve the marketing system, diversify
products, and increasing market share; both domestic
and export. We also encouraged the Board of Directors to
improve free market and new market as an opportunity
to support demands. The Company must also continue
to develop innovative products and supports sustainable
developments. The Company with subsidiaries and
between companies are expected to continuously improve
synergy in order to collaborate in improving the Company’s
performance in the future.

Pengawasan terhadap Implementasi Strategi Perseroan
Perseroan harus menyesuaikan strategi bisnis untuk
menghadapi tantangan di 2020 dan mempersiapkan
semua insan Perseroan untuk tanggap terhadap berbagai
perubahan. Dewan Komisaris akan melakukan evaluasi
dalammelaksanakan strategi ini, serta mengawasi kesiapan
Perseroan dalam menjalankan kegiatan usaha di dalam
masa normal yang baru, khususnya implementasi inovasi
teknologi. Dewan Komisaris berharap agar Perseroan
meningkatkan inovasi sejalan dengan kebutuhan pemangku
kepentingan, serta menuju pada bisnis yang berkelanjutan.

kemampuan dan keandalan seluruh insan Perseroan
melalui riset dan pengembangan untukmenciptakan inovasi
teknologi, dengan mulai melakukan kerja sama dengan
Universitas Telkom dan Institut Teknologi PLN
.
Sementara
itu, Kami juga sependapat agar strategi terkait pangsa pasar
dan rentang produksi dijalankan melalui perluasan ekspansi
ke pasar luar negeri dan pengembangan beberapa tipe kabel
dilakukan untuk mendukung kebutuhan proyek berbasis
ramah lingkungan.
Supervision on the Implementation of the Company’s
Strategy
The Company has to adjust its business strategy to deal
with the challenge in 2020 and prepare all the Company
employees to be ready for various changes. The Board of
Commissioners will evaluate the implementation of this
strategy, as well as observe the readiness of the Company
in carrying out business activities during the new normal,
especially the implementation of technology innovation.
The Board of Commissioners hopes that the Company will
increase innovation in accordance with the stakeholders’
needs, as well as towards a sustainable business.
The Board of Commissioners supported the efforts to
improve the competency and reliability of all the Company
employees through research and development in order to
establish technology innovations by starting a collaboration
with Telkom University and PLN Technology Institute.
Meanwhile, we also agreed that the strategies related to
market share and production range are carried out through
foreign market expansions and the development of several
cable types are conducted to support the environmentally-
friendly projects.
